PARTICIPANT WAIVER

By subscribing or participating in any EZRC runs, events or activities, you are hereby accepting the waiver terms outlined below:

 1. Risk and Liability

You acknowledge that your participation in EZRC activities, including group runs, events, and any related activities, carries certain inherent risks. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with running, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and the conditions of the running routes.

You are fully responsible for your own personal health & safety at all times, and the security of your personal possessions at any event or activity including other valuable items. You agree that EZRC is not responsible or liable for your health & safety or the repair or replacement of any personal possessions whether lost, damaged, stolen or otherwise.

2. Fitness and Ability;

You certify that you are physically fit and able to participate in running activities, and capable of completing the full distance. You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional prior to engaging in any strenuous physical activity.

3. Release and indemnity;

You hereby release EZRC, its officers, directors, members, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to, any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you or caused to any property belonging to you while participating in EZRC activities.

4. Personal Responsibility;

You understand that participation in EZRC activities is entirely voluntary, and assume all risks and responsibilities associated with your participation. You agree to comply with all instructions, guidelines, and rules set forth by EZRC, its organisers, and appointed officials.

5. Insurance;

You acknowledge and agree that any insurance which is in place may provide limited cover to you whilst participating in any event or activity for EZRC.  You understand that this insurance may not cover you for all injury, loss or damage sustained by you in participating in the Event and you acknowledge that EZRC does not make any representations about the suitability of the insurance. You also agree that you can, in your own interests and at your own expense, seek and obtain personal insurance over and above the cover provided by EZRC

6. Photography Permissions;

You understand that EZRC and its affiliates may take photos and or videos with you in them during events and you confirm that you grant your permission for these to be used for marketing purposes.
